Are you being accused of furlough fraud, or are you making an accusation that someone else is or has been committing  furlough fraud?

i am making accusation.
this person been on furlough since March 2020 till this day I believe as it has been extended several times

this person lives in another country since the march 2020 and had no intention of coming back to work

not sure how to go about this. would his employer be interested ? will they want to speak to me about it ? where and how shall I take legal actions ?

If you suspect the employer is committing furlough fraud, then you are able to report this directly to the HMRC online and confidentially.

All allegations are taken seriously by the HMRC and are investigated.

just worried that the person is going to say, they couldnt come over to UK due to COVID restrictions. Not sure if they can proof he didnt have intentions or returning back.
I know for a fact that the person is also earning illegaly money abroad

A person can be on furlough from one employer and still work for a second, that is allowed.

It would be the employer committing the offence, not the employee. The employer is the person who claims the furlough payment not the actual employee.

That is a matter for the employer to resolve, the employee has committed no offence. The employer should know where their employees are.

ah ok, so in a way, the employee is laughing as the person in trouble is employer. So they wont be claiming money back and instead might be paying a fine

correct. The employer can tell the employee to return to work.

i think the employer expects employees to be sat home and wait for their jobs to return to normal. That is simply impossible to check.

Supervisors, managers, HR department etc.

If you feel happier reporting the mater go ahead and do so, there is no fallout back on you.

It is the employer you would need to report. The employee being away is a matter between the employee and employer.
