Customer Question

Can't loose weight going to slimming world and following properly. Have had thyroiditis 4 years ago. Had several blood test and they come back border line. Last test gp said one was a bit up and one was a bit low. Have to wait 2 months to have another, but I want to have full testing as my weight is getting me down.

Dear customer,

What is your height and weight? Which tests do you want to do? What was the result of the previous investigations? What is your question?

Dear customer,

Thanks for your reply.

Your BMI: shows that you are overweight but not obese. If you are unable to lose weight despite less calorie intake and increased physical activity, this is likely due to hormonal factor as well genetic factors. Most likely this is due to decreased thyroid hormones and getting tested in a private lab after consulting a private doctor for a second opinion may be beneficial.

Take care.
