I am a 31 year old female. Thyroid antibody level at 506.

Customer Question

I am a 31 year old female. Thyroid antibody level at 506. Thyroid functioning 1.8. The blood test was performed after abnormalities shown on an ultrasound on my neck. ENT consultant thinks this is thyroiditis but offered no further tests or treatment. Said it would go away by itself and may return. I also have autoimmune disease Vitiligo. How is the type of thyroiditis diagnosed? What treatment could/should have been offered?

the functioning test was normal at 1.8 so they've said it's not currently under or over active

I see. but sometimes the labs take a while to catch up to the symptoms.
