I’ve been diagnosed with an overactive thyroid, and gp asked

Customer Question

I’ve been diagnosed with an overactive thyroid, and gp asked for my levels to be tested again in 4 weeks (2 weeks ago) as they thought it would correct itself. Now my symptoms have increased - heart palmatation, breathlessness, really fast metabolism and panic attacks. I’m trying to get appointment with my gp today but with everything going on I’m not sure if that will be possible

I'm a bit concerned it appears you're an eye doctor rather than thyroid?
Customer: replied 5 days ago.
Did you read my question which outlines my symptoms?
Expert:  wieyedoc replied 5 days ago.

I've had my thyroid removed decades ago......but I can opt out if you would like to speak to an endocrinologist instead.

Yes. I read your symptoms.

Do you have a question or task I can help you with?
