You would need T3 and T4 test also if not done. This also guides the need for thyroid medication.

You would need a thyroxine supplement.

High anti TPO antibody point that you would have or would later get the low thyroid (Hypothyroidism).

If T3 and T4 are normal, symptoms would be the criteria to start medications now or later. If the symptoms are moderate to severe, the physician may consider thyroxine supplements, but some physicians may wait for 3 months and will repeat the test.
