I just bought these hair vitamins https://www.vitabiotics.com/products/perfectil-original-tablets and I'm a guy and I was concerned about the iron content per tablet its 12mg and I know the recommend about is around 8mg. I run and workout but I've heard how having too much iron is bad foryou as men can't excrete iron or something like that. So I was wondering what I should do ? Is it a bad idea to use them ? I was thinking I could take the vitamin every second day so it would kind be like me getting 6mg iron each day via the supplement. I don't know any help would be great !

8.7mg a day for men over 18

14.8mg a day for women aged 19 to 50

I try follow a healthy diet as much as possible its just that my diet lacks a little in red meat for the iron. so in your professional opinion I should skip one day and then take it the next day ?

sorry this is a stupid question but by every second what do you mean. so if I was to take it on Monday when would I need to take it next ?

So if you plan to take every second day then you should take it on Wednesday and then Friday and then Sunday and then Tuesday and .......

If you plan to take twice weekly then Monday and Thursday are good days
