Dear Doctor, I have been diagnosed that i have a overactive

Customer Question

Dear Doctor,I have been diagnosed that i have a overactive nervous system, the hypothalamus in the brain is overstimulating the adrenal gland. Whenever i eat late, or eat too much sugar, i get surges of adrenaline, my legs feel weak and i get anxiety.I have had lots of blood tests and MRI scans, which have ruled out diabetes, or any form of tumours. I please wondered the most important supplement / nutrient i can take to support the adrenal gland please? Further the most important supplement / nutrient to support the hypothalamus please?I try eat small protein meals regular but i still dont feel i am getting enough relief from these episodes that are occurring frequently throughout the day. Thank you so much for any support and advice you can kindly give.Brendan.

May I know your age and gender?

The hypothalamus, a structure deep in your brain, acts as your body’s smart control coordinating centre. Its main function is to keep your body in a stable state called homeostasis. It does its job by directly influencing your autonomic nervous system or by managing hormones.

If your blood tests and MRI have ruled out any hormonal irregularities and MRI is clear for any tumour then there should be no worries.

Natural sources of vitamin B-12 include milk, eggs, chicken, salmon and beef. Making sure that you get enough B vitamins is also essential for supporting the function of your hypothalamus and Adrenal glands.

I am a 28 year old male. Thank you for your comments.MRI did rule out any problems also blood work was clear. However my GP states a subtle change in my body could be causing these adrenaline rush sensations. Can you kindly suggest any other supplements for the Hypothalamus and Adrenal glands please, to keep these organs functioning correctly?Thank you very much for your help. Brendan.

Have you did adrenal CT? Your GP should do for adrenal surge due to Pheochromocytoma
Expert:  Dr.Shakeel Ansari replied 14 days ago.
There are no specific supplements if there are any abnormalities will be hormonal imbalance, however pheochromocytoma only presents episodic with adrenal surge, patient has episodic clinical symptoms of tachycardia, high blood pressure, sweats and headaches and remain normal in between attacks.
