I can help you with your legal inquiry.

Can you elaborate further who the party in Holland is?

Thank you.

if I own a trademark in the uk for a food product, I have a customer in holland who buys my product and resells it in his own business. can he register my trademark under eu law and "steal it" or does owning it in the uk protect me in eu too?
Expert:  C.Cornel replied 1 year ago.

It would depend on circumstances.

Generally, if you want your trademark to be protected in EU, you have to register it in the European Union.

The UK trademark will have legal effects only in the UK.

Thank you.
