Is there any connection between the constituent hyaluronic

Customer Question

Is there any connection between the constituent hyaluronic acid in dermal fillers and the constituent sodium hyaluronate contained in hyabak drops for dry eyes? If so could hyabak be dangerous in the same way?

This is Dr. David

hyaluronic acid is the acid form of sodium hyaluronate.

but just because hyaluronic acid is used in dermal fillers injected into the body, does not mean that sodium hyaluronate will damage your eyes.

sodium hyaluronate occurs naturally on the corneal endothelium of your eyes

there is no danger in the hyabak eye drops

does this help?
