Ask an Eye Doctor and Get an Answer ASAP
Hello. I'm Dr ChipThanks for your question and I'm reviewing it.I'll be back in a moment with and answer or a request for more information
Usually a viral conjunctivitis causes reddening of the eye, watering, and burning pain
With a bacterial conjunctivitis there's normally matting--pus-like debris on the eyelids
Cloramphenicol drops would be effective for a bacterial conjunctivitis but not for a viral one
Please let me know if you need any more information
Still here
May I ask why the negative rating?
Acyclovir drops would be appropriate if it's viral
