I have sjogren's syndrome, but have been having a lot of pain with my eyes. I have had them checked out, but there is nothing wrong with them. I grind my teeth at night and use a splint to no avail. The problem is that the whites of my eyes feel like the muscles are in cramp all the time and its like a tooth ache. I've been taking co-codamol, anti-inflammatory tablets, eye drops etc. Nothing helps. I so tired of waking up in pain and going to bed in pain. I don't know what else to do, please help.

I've tried acupuncture as well. Is there nothing I can take that would relax my muscles?

Phenergan can definitely help and relax the muscles. Though this is by prescription

You can try; Valerian root and melatonin also which are without the prescription.

Sumatriptan and Verapamil are the other medications that can be significantly beneficial but these also are with the prescription.
