Thanks, ***** ***** a chalazion. They are from a blocked duct, will get bigger and feel sore. Treatment is just with a warm compress, however with eye symptoms, I would use a warm compress for 10mins daily but buy Chloramphenicol drops from the pharmacy as well.

Can I take that if I am breastfeeding
Expert:  Elliot Ruff replied 7 days ago.

Unfortunately not, it should be avoided in breast feeding. There may be an alternative available over the counter if you ask the pharmacist that would be appropriate in breast feeding.

Can that also cause blurry vision. As my vision was blurred when I woke up on Friday morning with the swelling
Expert:  Elliot Ruff replied 7 days ago.

Yes, as some discharge from the lid will give this apperance.

Sorry, Appearance.

Customer: replied 7 days ago.
Is there a time period it should go down within? Before I seek further help?
Expert:  Elliot Ruff replied 7 days ago.

This would take a few days to a week, if the redness spreads then oral antibiotics may be indicated.
