My name is Mac and I will be able to help you with your question. First, I need to ask for some more information.

1. How old is your daughter?
2. When did she start an apprenticeship? (and when leave it)?
3. When did she move back in with her mum?
4. What is your income (after tax)?
5. When you say you have been asked to pay maintenance again, is it a letter from the CSA?

Thank you for your question.
My name is Clare and I will do my best to help you.
I am afraid that you remain liable to pay Child. Maintenance so long as your child is under 20 and in full time Secondary Education. - and the course she is on does count as that I am afraid
The fact that she lived with you for a while and tried an apprenticeship does not change this.
I am sorry to give bad news - please ask if you need further details
