Ive been living with my partner for 24 years and have moved

Customer Question

I've been living with my partner for 24 years and have moved property 3times during this period. The houses have always been in her name. At present we have just sold for £530.000. It's only now she is telling me to clear off. We have two beautiful children and she is denying me rights to see them. I've been in work and as a builder have vastly improved our standards as we have moved forward. Help what can I do. .

Thank you for your question.
My name is Clare
I will do my best to help you but I need some further information first.
Why were the houses in her name and where did the purchase monies come from?
How old are the children?

The children are a boy 15 and a girl aged 9 both my children with my sir name. When we moved eleven years ago my friend a mortgage broker arranged for lisa to have a self assessed mortgage and it was going to be put into a joint mortgage after we had moved in,however we soon found out that it would of cost lisa and myself a lot of money in taxes to do this so we just didn't do it. For most of the time that we have lived here we have had lodgers and that has helped pay the mortgage . For the last two years I've been working as a site manager and have vastly improved life for the whole family ,only months ago spending about£4.000 on improving the granny annex, new kitchen and bathroom etc. I just feel used and I litter all have no where to go and no savings. Is it worth playing her at her own game we have taken at least £40.000 from lodgers over the last ten years and none of this was declared also when we moved to the house lots of the materials we're put through her business and used on the house. I've also done three major refurbs of her business a hair salon. I was only ther last week fitting foot rests that someone had fitted incorrectly. I'm in turmoil. What can I do
