Am I liable for her credit card debt. All credit cards were in her name only.

No, you would not be liable for her credit card bill unless you had specifically agreed to be liable for it.

tdlawyer :

The way people normally agree to be liable is to be added to the account as a second cardholder. So if you haven't done that, I doubt you're going to be liable in any way at all.
