Hi there, I am in battle with my ex wife over the child contact of our 15 months old of son
To date I have represented myself at Court and would appreciate some advice
On the first hearing the court ordered

A section 7 welfare report to be prepared by social services.
today I had meeting with to social worker for the section 7 welfare report
during the meeting the social worker behaved unfairly she didn't listen to me and she supported my ex, she told she doesn't believe me and I'm a liar.

I'm worried of the report she will filed at court i will not get the contact order
Thank you for your question.
My name is Clare
I will do my best to help you but I need some further information first.
What was the issue that you disagreed on?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Domestic violence I have perviously harmed my ex and son, but the police have now dropped the case due to lack evidence.
What specifically did you and the Social Worker disagree about?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
The soical doesn't believe me. I don't know reallyWhat would happen if thier report doesn't favour me
If there has been no prosecution then the Social Worker cannot base her report on the assumption that the abuse happened - and if she does do so then you can challenge the report on that basis

On what reasons can the court refuse to order contact.

My ex is making up all of lies to prevent the contact with my son.
Unless there has been substantiated abuse then it is unlikely that Contact will be refused - although it may be limited to a Contact Centre to start with

If the judge made the decision to refuse contact order can I appeal it, what are chances like to appeal a judge decision
As I said it is highly unlikely that Contact will be refused - quite the opposite
IF it is then the appeal will depend on what reasons were given
