Hello,I lived with my husband 5 years before marrying him

Customer Question

I lived with my husband 5 years before marrying him which then lasted a year. Am I entitled to 1 year of his army pension or 6 years. We have been separated 3 1/2 years now, can I also claim the 3 1/2 years too as he is delaying the divorce. We bought a house together which we lived in together for 5 years of the relationship.
Thank you.

Thank you for your question.
My name is Clare
I will do my best to help you but I need some further information first.
How much is the house worth and how much is outstanding on the mortgage?
Are there any children involved and what pension provision do you have?
