Customer Question

I have a friend who's husband has left her 6 months ago. The agreement was that he was to continue to pay half the mortgage. He has paid a few payments and has now stopped paying. My friend is now paying the mortgage in full on her own. Will he be entitled to half of the value of the house at a future date or can she note somewhere that he has not contributed to the mortgage payments and therefore not entitled to half the value.

Thank you for your question.
My name is Clare
I will do my best to help you but I need some further information first.
How long have they lived together and are there any children involved?
How much is the property worth and how much is outstanding on the mortgage?
is it a repayment mortgage?
How much do they each earn?
