If she cannot claim anything from me, why are they asking

If she cannot claim anything from me, why are they asking this question? They know he lives here with me, but we have said he is my lodger.
The Court will need to know if any of the parties to the case will be cohabiting or entering a new relationship. This would impact their finances, income and needs and she may argue that together, you two will be able to pool your resources to provide for each other and possibly claim a higher share of the assets / great spousal maintenance as she would be a single person.
