my final hearing was adjourned until feb 19. Am I correct im assuming that without permission of the court neither side will be allowed to file additional or revised witness statements?
Thank you for your question.
I am a Solicitor and will assist you.
Please may I ask:
- is this a children or finances case?
- has there been a further incident that the court needs to be aware of?
Kind Regards

Finance case - application to varyNo - no further incident. The hearing took place and was then adjourned pending the gathering of certain original docs
Thank you for clarifying that for me.
In those circumstances there is no need for any further statements.
If one party sought to include a statement without the order provision for the same then this would have to be dealt with as a preliminary issue on the day of the final hearing before the final hearing commences - that being the Judge deciding whether this further statement should be admitted as evidence.
Kind Regards
