My mother in law mother is close to dying aged 94 and she is concerned with regard to the question I have asked

Yes my mother in law is the sole beneficiary of the will
And she a local lawyer who holds her will will be the executors of the estate
In that case please do not worry - the funeral expenses are paid by the estate.
