My wife is divorcing me and seems to have a good solicitor. Do I need to appoint a solicitor and can my wife take half of considerable assets inherited by me before we were married. We have 2 sons 20 and almost 18

Wife has worked with me in family business.
Assets £5m+
Wife takes salary approx £40k
I take small salary approx £12k
