Can the financial side of the divorce be done by self

This answer was rated:

Can the financial side of the divorce be done by self representation and then at the end I get legal representation?Which is most common mutual agreement on the financial divorce or via courts deciding ?

Hello and thanks for your question.

You can self represent for as long as you are comfortable doing so.

In terms of whether agreement is common - it normally depends on the parties' willingness to use mediation - it is obviously difficult to reach agreement without the involvement of an independent third party such as a mediator.

Can I clarify anything?
