Ask a Family Law Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
Hello! I am Solicitor4All, a law expert with over 15years practice. Thank you for the inquiry. It is my pleasure to assist you today.
How old is your daughter?
To start, you need to reach some agreement, if you are not capable of this then mediation just be attempted, then should that fail, then either of you can apply to the court for a formal child arrangements order.
If there is no issues or risks to the child, he will not get full custody.
Both parents clearly want to be full time parents. Sadly that is not going to happen. The most likely outcome would be more equally split custody, at least until the child is at full time school age
