I had a loan with northern rock. I got into difficulties and ended up having a CCJ with a second charge been placed on my home.
I have not paid anything since 2009. I assume becsuse NR know when my home is sold the loan will be repaid.
All northern rocks loan book has been sold to Marlin capital who are now asking for repayment.

Is the second charge still valid?
Dear Friend,

Yes, the second charge still remains valid. When the debt is sold to anyone, the purchases also purchases the liens and subsequently the title to the property.

Therefore, the second charge still remain valid.

I am sure this would help.
