Ford focus 1.8 diesel 2008
Flat battery, jumped started by recovery. Started, then turned off to see if it would re start. Now has PATS fault 1:6!

Hello, I hope I can offer you some assistance.

The most likely cause of this is the 3 amp engine fuse in the fuse box under the bonnet. For some reason this fuse tends to blow when jump started. If the outside temperature is showing -55 this indicates an open circuit in the sensor circuit so make sure all the fuses in the GEM are OK as again jump starting can blow fuses.
