Customer Question

I have a ford focus TDDI 2002. the fan slowly died and I have taken it out and tested the connections. I get around 5 volts at 0 setting and 15V at 1,2,3,and 4. I think the actual fan and motor is dead, just want to confirm the voltages at the fan connector before I replace it. All help is greatly appreciated, thank you lee

The voltages indicate the resistor is good. Therefore you should check the earth contact first. If that too is good then replace the motor.
