Customer Question

I have a 57 Transit 115 T350L and today while at speed and climbing a hill I lost power and the temp guage rose to max! Slowed for a moment and it dropped back to normal. It has done this several times today.

Hello, welcome. My name is Mike, I will do my very best to
assist you with your question.

From what you are describing this issue is consistent with the coolant thermostat sticking and not opening and closing properly. This issue would be more noticeable going up a hill or at a higher rpm because the engine would be under more stress.
