Hi .

Your clutch system works hydraulic and does not use a cable like in the older model cars .

The system is using brake fluid ,

The master cylinder (3) should be check for fluid level if its low then you have a leak in the system if its full and the pedal is not working then you have a master cylinder (5) problem .

You may have a leak with the pressure hose or connections ,should also be checked (4)
This is a pretty basic system and if you find the master cylinder bottle empty fill and pump the pedal and see where the leak is coming from .
Most likely fault will be a leaking slave cylinder (5)
