hi 2006 ford focus 1.6 tdci bought car second hand 110000k

Customer Question

2006 ford focus 1.6 tdci
bought car second hand 110000k now
only modification:dpf has been removed by last owner
car uses no oil in past 6 months since purchase
car has strange problem.
When internal climate control is turned on (not using a/c button) then after a few mins the external fan will start to run. (as other cars would when hot) then after a short time we will see blue smoke from exhaust. this happens around town and at motorway speeds, car temp is just below the halfway 90c so is not getting hot for external fans to operate. (no noticeable performance issues either)
When climate control is turned off inside car, external fan will continue to run until car is turned off and blue smoke will remain for this duration. (strange external fans will run even when car temp below halfway)
However if car is turned off and climate control also turned off we can drive all day without any blue smoke!
Car temp remains the same whether fans operate or not.
Blue smoke seems to be related to the external fan coming on.
Car does not overheat
Blue smoke does smell quite like unburnt diesel.

Any advise appreciated.
Over fueling possibly faulty temp sensor? but if so why do external fans come on only if internal climate is turned on?
