I have a 2007 transit t330 (ex rac) when its cold itcstarts

Customer Question

I have a 2007 transit t330 (ex rac) when it's cold itcstarts first time, but the warmer the engine gets the longer it takes to start. Sometimes after 6 attempts. But if it's left for 3 or 4 hours so that it's cool again. It starts first time. It's only done 86k, any ideas?

I'd suggest replacing the coolant temperature sensor as this has a strong effect on the fuelling and the part isn't expensive

also check that wiring to the sensor isn't damaged and the connector plug isn't corroded
