Customer Question

When my focus has been standing for a few hours and
I check the engine oil level there isn't any on the dipstick
But if I put the dipstick back in and check it again it registers
as the correct level. Why?

if you withdraw the dipstick quickly then this creates a vacuum and draws oil up the tube
so I'd say that its likely that it needs some oil adding and when you check the level withdraw the dipstick overnight and check it in the morning
