I have. A mk3 mondeo, it has never been a problem. Last night the heater stopped giving out heat, the fan works , the temperature control seems to work.

The first thing you need to check is the coolant level is correct. For safety and accuracy only do this when the engine is cold.

If the coolant level is correct then next check would be to the heater matrix hoses to see if they were warm when the engine had been warmed up.

Mark :

This would help indicate if water was passing through the heater matrix.
