Hopefully i can help..

On the end of the union you fit into the outlet port on the master cylinder there is a small black o-ring or should one on the end of the union itself that fits into the master cylinder,certainly make sure that is present aswell as im sure you fitting the line in straight and not to an angle that maybe distorting the seal slightly..if that isnt there then it wont seal properly hence the leaking from where you describe..seeing as you have replaced the the cylinder itself then you can rule that out..that only leaves in theory the line itself at fault,require replacement.........I do hope this helps..if you need to ask anything else or include anything further then just continue before you rate...
