Good morning,
I have just purchased a Ford Transit without the Fob "X" Reg.
I can open the front doors ok, and drive.
Can I open the back / side doors without the Fob?

Very sorry for the delayed response
Ok to unlock the rear/side doors you need to turn the key in the drivers door lock twice to the unlock postion
like wise to lock them turn it twice to the lock Postion
This is known as manual entry when the fob is unavailable

Hi Brian,

I have tried this several times but nothing unlocks.

The mechanism makes a noise as if doing something but doesn't unlock.

Is there anything else to try?

The van was un lockable with the fob before the fob was lost.

If I could just get the back some how without smashing the window I could see what is going on.

Ok Unfortunatley this is the only manual procedure for unlocking the rear doors on this model
It may be worth getting someone to push pull the rear /side doors when doing this incase the latch /mechanisim is stuck
Failing this you would need to try a fob (any transit fob can be coded and tried and then coded back to the other vehicle
