have a Cmax tdi 2.0 2006 ghia
the manual lock lever on the drivers door was depressed and now will not disengage either manually or when I unlock using the key fob so I have to wind down the wind and open the door from the outside is there a quick fix/override or is it a garage job
Hi there ,good afternoon to you
Ok the fault lies internal of the drivers door latch
The fact you cannot unlock the latch manually confirms this
This is quite a common occurance on the earlier focus /c-max
And can only be resolved by replacing the drivers door latch
This is quite a tricky job if you haven't had any previous dealings with this setup as the window glass /door handles need to be removed and the full interior door panel and latch and window regulator comes off as one unit
