ford mondeo 2011 daylight driving lights come on when stop

Hi there good afternoon to you
Ok the most common cause is an internal fault in the daytime running lamp assembly (part of the headlight )
The quickest way to check and confirm this if all wiring is ok is to swap the headlights over from left to right (Obivously don't drive the vehicle as they won't fit as they should but they can be sat securely for testing purposes
Everytime I have seen this fault the headlight has been the cause
This would be covered under fords 3 year /60,000 miles warranty
As yours is an 11 plate its most probably out of warranty but I can clarify this for you if you give me your registration number or if private -chassis number
