hi mate im a garage got smax with b1126-13 was wondering if in curtain or steering wheel airbag
Hi there ,good morning to and sorry for the delay
Ok the fault code you have B1126 :13
Is a drivers side -side airbag deployment control - open circuit code
The air bag system works using resistance values if there is a poor /loose connection the airbag light will be illuminated
Something we see a lot of is poor pin grip at the Multiplug at the airbag module
This causes a high resistance reading to be received by the airbag module
If you need anymore help or advice on this issue please let me know

Ok so the airbag module plug is at fault not airbag plug is the module under centre console

Hi there ,
Ok this is one of a number of possible causes of this code
As I mentioned the system works using resistance values so thought has been brought on due to high resistance between the drivers side -side air bag (in the seat ) and the air bag module
Check the connections at both the airbag module and under seat connections (there is a plug under the seat which connects the wiring loom and to the seat loom
Sometimes dissconnecting and reconnecting the plugs resolves the issuesx
We use datalogger or fords ids multimeters to check the resistance values
Very rarely is it a component issue
