The two front wheels had severe tyre wear to the inside edge

This answer was rated:

The two front wheels had severe tyre wear to the inside edge after 23500 miles. tread about 3/4mm's still. What causes this unequal wear to the tyres at the front? Ford Mondeo
2. 0 TDCi Titanium X .

these cars do have a tendency to wear the inside edges as you describe

its a feature of the suspension design I'm afraid and coupled with the strong torque of the TDCi engine tyre do tend to suffer

to get a set to last 23,500 miles is actually pretty good for one of these to be honest

The problem, is that the service interval is 12500 miles and the tyres could have blown out. Are all Ford cars like this, should I sell it now and buy a japanese or german model?
