Po041 was fault code kept coming up even after new egr fitted that's all that was replaced
Hi there Norman good morning to you
Ok the fault code p0041 is a HEGO sensor code
I suspect it was P0401- EGR flow rate
With this fault code the issue is isn't caused by a choked up EGR supply pipe to the inlet manifold
There is ametalpipefromtbe EGR vslve to the inlet manifold (this is where the exhaust gases are fed tithe inlet manifold ) the map sensor is located at the inlet manifold near where this pipe is
The map sensor must sees difference in reading
The EGR valve opens the map sensor detects the flow rate thus voltage drop
If this pipe is choked with carbon /soot debris it causes an incorrect reading as the gases are restricted therefore the light is illuminated (this doesn't effect the vehicles performance )
To resolve the issue remove this pipe and clean it out and also remove the map sensor and clean the pick up probe carefully using brake cleaner /compressed air
This will resolve this fault code (it will still need cleared )
If you need anymore help or advice on this issue Norman please let me know
If you are completley satisfied with my answer /advice
