My steering wheel is moving to the left
on its own !! its happens when stationary
on traffic lights, every 20-50 seconds the wheel suddenly moves to left
like I can feel it moves about 1/4 of inch
just notice today and sometimes when driving as well
the movement is sudden and not continues
please help :(

this sounds like the steering hasn't been aligned correctly

the power steering rack will try and self center to its neutral position - now if the steering geometry has been set with the engine off then the rack won't be able to self center

I'd also expect that the steering wheel may need to be removed and re-fitted as well

the other possibility is that the proportioning valve inside the steering rack is sticking so adding asistance where none is required

in this case the fluid shoudl be replaced with fresh as this often solves this sort of issue
