Mondeo 2.2 tdci 2006 , battery light coming on intermittently

This answer was rated:

Mondeo 2.2 tdci 2006 , battery light coming on intermittently , lights pulsing , engine struggling , replaced alternator still same problem , have been told problem may be cat related ?
the battery light will come on if the engine speed drops too low
so if its down at 300 rpm then you'll get the engine light on
is this the case?

No engine light coming on , though when stopped and engine idling interior light ,if on , will go off and headlights flicker . When driving the lights on dashboard appear to pulse or flicker just before battery light comes on .
Ok then next check the main battery connections and main engien earth for cleanliness and tightness and then check high power fuses again for cracks and corrosion also there should be some small earth connections to the engine that run out of the engine bay wiring loom and are secured to the engine with ring terminals
