Hi there no the key is in 1 bit my partner jas tryed to start my car its making a noise but wont start

Is the engine turning over quickly or are you getting a clicking sound when trying to start the vehicle

Kindest regards ***** *****

His getting a clicking sound

If there is a click /click sound when turning the key this indicates the battery voltage is too low to crank the engine and the clicking noise you hear is the starter motor

I suspect the battery will have a bad cell and will need replaced

As a temporary fix you will need to either charge the battery or jump start using another vehicle

Hi there car still not working taking it to the garage tomorrow

Was there stil a clicking noise or a single click coming from engine when trying to start vehicle

Kindest regards ***** *****

Brian

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
Single click all the lights will come on but nothing

Hi thanks

Ok if it is only a single click then the fault lies with the starter motor or wiring to the starter motor ie corroded

wire but most commonly it will be an internal starter motor fault

You should be able to bump /push start the vehicle with this concern
