Hi there good morning to you

Ok the issue is caused by an internal fault in one of the latches (the door ajar switches are internal of the latches )

the door latch sends an earth /ground to the bcmii (Body Control Module) to tell it they the door is closed
basically one of your latches isn’t sending the earth /ground to the bcmiii (thus the locks will cycle and then the horn beeps)

as the transit doesn’t display what door it is that is open it makes diagnosing it a little more difficult

we are lucky enough that the ford diagnostic equipment allows us to check live data and we can visually see what door is showing open in the bcmii

in your case if diagnosing the issue your self we will need to check the relavent wiring at the bcmii for each door ajar switch to see which one isn’t receiving the earth

Most commonly it’s one of the front latches so we would start with those wiring information

I can give you the wiring location but you will need a multimeter to carry out the tests

When the issue is found and one of the latches isn’t sending the relavent earth we can just give it an earth as a temp fix or you can replace the latch

giving it an earth will allow you to lock the doors like normal

Let me know if you want the wiring information to carry out these tests
