My passenger side front and back indicators have stopped

My passenger side front and back indicators have stopped working but the wing mirror one still works why ???
Assistant: What is the model/year of your Ford?

I had a puncture put my hazards on then fixed tyre with spare went to garage to replace tyre next day put alarm on only driver side flashed amber then I checked no indicator back or front ! But wing mirror indicator working normal

Hi there and sorry for the delay I was offline for a while there

ok the front and rear Indicator system in the kuga is controlled by the BCMii (body control module)

this is the fuse box in the passengers footwell

they are powered from separate pins using an internal processor (there is no fuses etc )

the wing mirror indicators are controlled by the door modules (using a command from the bcmii) over the can bus network

so if both front and rear passengers side indicators are inop then I would suspect either a lock up of the BCMii or a possible short in the system

as if ie : one of the indicator bulbs short out it doesn’t blow fuses like older vehicles it just shuts the power output off inside the BCMii

in most cases the BCMii needs to have the codes cleared to reset the system

occasionally you can disconnect the battery for 5 mins to try reset the internal processor

No good sorry changed bulbs gotta take it to main dealers to sort out sorry had to remove splash plate on front wheel plus a few bits got to bulb of which looked good changed for brand new same in back both still not working unfortunately fords will have to sort it

Hi there thanks for replyingYou will find it will need the BCMii reset to enable power to the bulbs again as I mentioned the processor shuts the power off when it sees an issue rather than blowing a fuseIf you need any further help or technical assistance going forward ie wiring assistance

Hi checked both bulbs they ok reset bcmi. Still no indicator

Now I have to take it for full diagnostics on car d like a refund please as your info to me did not solve the problem
