The battery in the alarm system is low so it mean the alarm is going off every 30 minutes and we can’t stop it
Customer: replied 9 days ago.
Alarm keeps going off every 30 minutes as battery is low
Expert:  James replied 9 days ago.

Understood, and your wanting to know how to replace the battery?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
No. Have ordered a battery but it won’t be here for 2 days. Need to know how to disarm the alarm
Customer: replied 9 days ago.
Hello. Are you an expert in home alarms ?
Expert:  James replied 9 days ago.

Ok if you put it into maintenance (program mode) it should stop alerting

Enter the super user code and then Select NO, the alarm is then in maintenance and should stop alarming.

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
How do we get the super user code
Expert:  James replied 9 days ago.

It would have been provided when the installer setup the alarm for you, its probably the code you use to set and disarm the alarm.

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
It’s not our code.
Expert:  James replied 9 days ago.

Ok try 1234

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
It’s not our code
Customer: replied 9 days ago.
It’s asking if we Albany to authorise engineer
Customer: replied 9 days ago.
want to
Expert:  James replied 9 days ago.

Select yes and it may ask for your user code

Once in it should then put the unit in maintenance once you have the new battery just select 0 0 0 and it should be back in service mode.

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
We will leave it an hour and see how it goes. How do we revisit this if it doesn’t work ?
Expert:  James replied 9 days ago.

Just drop me a message here and it will come back to me, due to the time of day it may be tomorrow before I respond however.

Even if it does work please come back and confirm since I need confirmation the question is resolved.

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
That didn’t work. Alarm still going off
Expert:  James replied 9 days ago.

It sounds like its in a fault state rather than Tamp then, whats the model of alarm (as there are a few alarm systems the keypad model reference above could be connected to).

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
Eurosec Cpx
Customer: replied 9 days ago.
Pr5648
Expert:  James replied 9 days ago.

Pr5648 Is not the model number of the alarm thats the model of the keypad, however suggests its probably a CP8L.

Expert:  James replied 9 days ago.

The fact its in engineer mode should sielence the fault, what is shown on the display when you get the beeping about the battery?
