Understood, and your wanting to know how to replace the battery?
Ok if you put it into maintenance (program mode) it should stop alerting
Enter the super user code and then Select NO, the alarm is then in maintenance and should stop alarming.
It would have been provided when the installer setup the alarm for you, its probably the code you use to set and disarm the alarm.
Ok try 1234
Select yes and it may ask for your user code
Once in it should then put the unit in maintenance once you have the new battery just select 0 0 0 and it should be back in service mode.
Just drop me a message here and it will come back to me, due to the time of day it may be tomorrow before I respond however.
Even if it does work please come back and confirm since I need confirmation the question is resolved.
It sounds like its in a fault state rather than Tamp then, whats the model of alarm (as there are a few alarm systems the keypad model reference above could be connected to).
Pr5648 Is not the model number of the alarm thats the model of the keypad, however suggests its probably a CP8L.
The fact its in engineer mode should sielence the fault, what is shown on the display when you get the beeping about the battery?
