Respected customer, thanks a lot for your input, and thanks again for visiting justanswer.com! A great place where you can find guidance and/or solution from real experts. I am sorry to hear about your problem. I am going to address your primary concern but later you can ask anything you want. Even I would get tense in this situation. This is a sinus infection and is very common. At your age, cancer is not likely and cancer of the nose never starts with the pain. You should start with over-the-counter available Sinex nasal spray 2 puffs thrice daily for 5 days and tablet Advil 400 mg thrice daily for 5 days. Use tablet Claritin once daily for 7 days. See your doctor later on as you may need antibiotics but I reassure you in the same way as I would have assured some of my family members that there is nothing serious behind this so please don't stress yourself. If you can go to A & E for earlier treatment, that would be best.

Yes this does rule out serious issues but ultimately for this sinus infection, you must be given antibiotics and if you don't respond then you must be sent to an ENT.
Then this is most likely frontal sinusitis.
Yes even for years if not treated.
You are welcome
