JA: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Customer: terex TA6s serial number has worn off
JA: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes and nothing
JA: Is there anything else the Equipment Mechanic should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: yes battery was taken off to charge put back on and now won’t start

Hi Les here,
When the battery was removed was the unit still operational, was any attempt to boost start made,this can sometimes create a no go issue.
When you say will not start does the engine turn over.
I assume this unit has a tier 3 Perkins common rail engine.
We need to address a couple of small issues first, does the engine controller have power , a possible fuse issue?.
Also is the cranking speed correct, a common rail engine can be very temperamental in this regard as the engine controller is programmed only to initiate start up when certain parameters are met.
Such as cranking speed, fuel pressure in the common rail,operational crank and cam sensors.
But lets start with the basics, lets check all fuses and crank speed.
Could you send a picture of the engine and engine plate so i can narrow down the electrical diagram.
