Customer Question

I have a honeywell CM927Room Thermostat to contol my cental heating and I have noticed that when I set it to auto the OFF time has to go no lwer than 5 degrees rather than zero.Is this usual for this controller or is there a way to turn the heating off completely automatically regularly.

5 degrees is the frost protection setting - do you need your house colder than that?
Normally a night time temperature would be 12-14 degrees, then the heating would only come on if the house gets really cold.
