Customer Question

I am replacing a mira alora shower with a mira sprint. The sprint water inlet is plastic. Do I use a regular compression fixing to join the two pipes. Should there be an anti crushing device on the plastic inlet pipe.

Hello Micheal My name is Ivor I hope I can help you.

I have had this problem with plastic fixings, I got over it by using a flexi fitting with a push fit end onto the plastic and a compression end to the copper pipe, you can get these at B& Q etc. both in 15mm and 22 mm sizes.

I hope this helps you
Kind regards
